Process Flow

1. Heart-shaped Blanking & Pre-pressing (Initial contour forming)

Adopt servo press and dedicated progressive dies for heart-shaped cans.

- Station 1: Blanking. Punch out heart-shaped blanks and remove burrs.

- Station 2: Pre-pressing & scoring. Pre-form the sharp corners and arcs of the heart shape to disperse stress and avoid cracking

2. Multi-station Deep Drawing

- 1st deep drawing (Shallow cup forming): Form heart-shaped blanks into shallow cups with accurate blank holder force to prevent wrinkling.

- 2nd & 3rd deep drawing (Final forming): Gradually reduce the caliber and increase height to complete the three-dimensional heart-shaped can body.

3. Shaping & Finishing

Correct spring back to ensure symmetrical heart shape and dimensional accuracy.

 4. Trimming & Curling

- Trimming: Cut the can mouth to uniform height and eliminate burrs.

- Curling: Roll the can mouth outward into a rounded edge to prevent cuts, facilitate lid fitting and reinforce the can.
