Specially designed for 10–25L tinplate pails, this combination machine supports both 5-layer and 7-layer seaming processes. It integrates four key working procedures: conical expanding, flanging, curling, barrel rib beading and bottom lid seaming. Operating as a fully automatic assembly line, it seamlessly connects to the front-end side seam welder and back-end leak tester, serving as the standard host machine for medium-sized can production lines. Its production speed ranges from 30 to 50 cans per minute, varying slightly by model.

The can seaming head adopts a spiral lid separating mechanism paired with 7-layer seaming technology, which cuts material consumption while delivering stronger and more reliable seaming performance.
The barrel expanding station is equipped with an 18-segment expanding cone module. The expansion taper angle can be electrically adjusted via the touchscreen for convenient operation, enabling smooth nesting of finished pails and delivering superior surface appearance.
The rib beading unit features a fixed die holder fitted with rubber rings to prevent internal scratches on pails during rib forming, and the rib position can be rapidly adjusted as needed.
An optional weld seam positioning system can be installed to lock the weld seam in a fixed position. The rib bulging area is designed with an avoidance clearance for the weld seam, effectively eliminating scratches on the pail body and mouth caused by friction against the weld.
Servo feeding, servo can supporting and servo flanging systems are adopted; the can seaming head is driven by timing belts. This flexible operation reduces mechanical impact, lowers component wear under high-speed production and extends equipment service life.
A progressive roller seaming design ensures sufficient overlap for both 5-layer and 7-layer seams, providing more consistent and reliable product quality.
Mechanical transmission and internal-external modular positioning are applied for flanging forming. The flanging width and angle are precisely controlled to guarantee consistent pail height and stable performance of the 7-layer bottom seam.
By integrating the can seaming head with the integrated forming machine, the equipment occupies less floor space and greatly improves workshop space utilization efficiency.
