The automatic can body curling machine is an internal curling forming equipment for can top opening. Its core function is to curl the metal can mouth inward by 360° to form a smooth, high-strength inner ring. It is suitable for high-standard sealing and appearance scenarios such as biscuit cans, milk powder cans, food cans and chemical cans, and generally adopts die curling forming.
After the cans are produced by the lock seamer, they need to be sent to the can body combiner for further processing, such as: necking, curling, flanging, beading, bottom sealing, etc, which depends on specific can outshape.
Curling & Flanging combiner achieve top inner curling and bottom flanging simultaneously in one station.
The upper edge is bent and curled by the curling mold to make it fit tightly on the can surface. The control system will adjust the speed, tension and position of the curling in real time according to can size, curling specifications to ensure the quality and accuracy.
