The bottom clinching machine realizes automatic bottom cap feeding, fitting and seaming sealing, permanently locking the can body and bottom cap together to form a finished empty can.
Working Principle
Can body feeding: Can bodies are conveyed upside down and positioned separately.
Bottom cap feeding: Bottom caps are automatically sorted, conveyed and positioned via vacuum suction or mechanical positioning.
Bottom fitting pressing: The upper die presses down to accurately fit the bottom cap onto the bottom of the can body.
Double seaming sealing:
a) First seaming (pre-seaming): The seaming rollers feed radially to interlock the flanged edge of the can body with the hooked edge of the bottom cap.
b) Second seaming (compacting): The rollers feed forward again to press the interlocked part into tight five-layer seams and fully compress the rubber gasket.
