The beading machine is the mainstream vertical special equipment for rolling reinforcing ribs on can bodies in the can-making industry. It features vertical clamping of can bodies, vertical centering and radial rolling to form ribs, effectively preventing cans from being crushed and deformed during stacking and transportation.
Working Principle
Vertical feeding: Can bodies are vertically delivered to the positioning platform via conveyor chains.
Vertical clamping: The upper pressing head driven by cylinder or servo descends, and the lower rotating tray holds tight to fix the can body vertically in concentric position.
Radial feed of beading rollers: Inner and outer beading rollers move horizontally to closely attach to the can wall.
Rotary beading: The lower tray drives the can body to rotate 360°, and the rollers cold-extrude metal to form annular reinforcing ribs.
Retraction, unclamping and discharging: The rollers retract, the upper pressing head lifts up, and finished cans are vertically discharged.
