Flanging Machine is specially used for flanging the top and bottom ends of tin cans and aluminum cans. It adopts double-end synchronous forming, with uniform flanging, stable operation and high efficiency. It is widely matched in the metal can making production line.
Working Principle:
1. Feeding and Positioning: The can body is fed into the machine and accurately centered and fixed by molds and support rollers to ensure no eccentricity or deflection of the can.
2. Mold Clamping and Locking: The upper and lower tooling molds clamp and fix the can body to prevent shaking and deformation during flanging.
3. Roller Spinning Flangin: Core principle: Spin Forming Multiple sets of forming rollers rotate at high speed along the circumference of the can mouth, while applying inward and downward pressure gradually to bend and roll the edge of the can mouth outward into shape.
4. Upper & Lower Synchronous or Single-Side Flanging: The upper and lower sets of flanging mechanisms operate simultaneously to complete one-time synchronous flanging on the top and bottom of the can body, with uniform radian and consistent dimension.
5. Shaping and Unloading: After flanging is in place, the molds are released, and finished cans are discharged automatically to complete the whole flanging process.
